Inside Sales Representative

Role

We are seeking an accomplished Inside Sales Representative (ISR) with storage or IT infrastructure sales experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to penetrate Global 1000 accounts. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, professional, and with a clear track record of success. The ISR is responsible for sales activities including prospecting targeted accounts, qualifying leads, working with channel partners, and discussing our value proposition to prospective Load DynamiX customers. You will be the first point of contact for prospects and have a direct impact on the success of the company through your ability to open new doors. We prefer this position to be based in our San Jose, California headquarters, but we are open to strong candidates residing in the East coast.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new sales opportunities
  • Identify, qualify and set appointments for outside sales managers
  • Progress opportunities as needed in support of the outside sales manager
  • Qualify and respond to all marketing generated leads
  • Attend trade shows and conferences as required
  • Work closely with outside sales managers to identify sales targets and penetrate new accounts
  • Work on outbound prospecting campaigns with channel partners
  • Engage proactively with marketing on strategy and lead generation programs
  • Provide ongoing feedback to marketing teams on lead gen initiatives
  • Keep current on the storage industry trends and master the high-level messaging and value propositions of our product suite
  • Update CRM system to reflect all activities

Requirements

  • Proven track record of beating quota and gaining access to new accounts
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize your time between research, calling and e-mail outreach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate the Load DynamiX value proposition to IT managers
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to work early hours as this position will support the east coast and the UK
  • Experience prospecting in federal government accounts and System Integrators desired, but not required
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in inside or outside sales, preferably in storage, servers, networking or infrastructure software
  • BA/BS degree required

Senior Technical Writer

Role

Load DynamiX wants a talented and motivated Senior Technical Writer to join our fast growing company in San Jose, CA. We are interested in individuals who thrive in a challenging environment and bring imagination and energy to work. The successful candidate will handle the development and maintenance of product and technical documentation for Load DynamiX products and services. This position reports to the Director of Engineering Services and is part of the product organization.

Additional responsibilities of the Senior Technical Writer include the ability to:

  • Determine the needs of customers, partners and internal teams for product and technical documentation
  • Satisfy the customer by ensuring easy to use documentation, that educates on product usage, usage methodologies and value realization
  • Organize, write and revise supporting documents for products as new issues arise or as part of the normal product release cycle
  • Gather usability feedback from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders and work with technical staff to make products easier to use  (while decreasing need for product instructions)
  • Develop a consistent and coherent information library for product documentation including the use of video, images, drawings, diagrams and animation to increase users’ understanding
  • Create a web-based documentation infrastructure and tools that include the selection of appropriate medium for the message and audience (such as manuals or online videos)
  • Ensure standardize content across platforms and media
  • Contribute to internal documentation and training
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing, and continually enhance our product solution

Requirements

Qualified candidates must have proven ability and success in taking complex, technical information and translate it for audiences with different levels of experience and technical acumen. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.  Other requirements include:

  • Excellent writing skills (in English) with 10+ years of experience in a professional, marketing or technical writing capacity
  • Proven ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in a text and picture format along with 5+ years of experience in developing documentation for software, storage or IT infrastructure fields
  • Demonstrated ability to write high quality product documentation that describes the product or process in a non-technical way
  • Demonstrated ability to architect web-based information infrastructure, platforms and tools required for supporting the ongoing releases of new and existing products
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • University degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
